IT'S HERE!!!!! and it is absolutely GORGEOUS!  Goodness, it is going to take a lot of will power on my part to wait until Friday to give Cam his quilt! I was hoping I could wait until Friday to see it myself, but that obviously didn't happen!!!  {great big grin!!!}   I've arranged for some of the stitchers to meet me in his nurses office on Friday and I'm going to get busy and frame Jeanie's eagle picture so it will all be ready.

Mr Patriotic is going to be sooooo excited!   My brother is going to take us to Washington DC with him in a few weeks and I haven't told Cameron that yet either... He is going to be on cloud 9!

THANKS A MILLION!!!!! WE LOVE YOU!

Cameron M.'s Story
written by mom Carla

After many years of trying to have a child, our dream came true when Cameron was born on October 2, 1997. His first surgery came when he was only 2 months old to repair a hernia. As a mother - it was very heart breaking to have to take my baby to the hospital for surgery. Little did I know that was just the beginning. June 2001, at the young age of 3, Cameron was diagnosed with a Wilms' tumor that was connected to both kidneys. He had surgery and almost 6 months of chemo. A month after he finished chemo we discovered he had high blood pressure. That is being controlled by medication twice a day and a low sodium diet.   Nov. 2002 he was diagnosed as having type 1 diabetes. He got an insulin pump July 2004 and that has helped make life easier... well, better than 4-6 shots a day!   The list of medical problems continues to grow as Cameron also has problems with allergies and asthma.
