Hello this is Joshua Heathcoats mother. I am writing to let you know that Josh received his quilt today. I cannot express the feelings we had when we opened it. It is just beautiful. It came just in time for Josh is not doing well at all. But at least he has the chance to use it. Joshua's long hard battle with the disease he has is almost over. It has been a rough journey,but he will be in a better place. Please express a great big Thank You to everyone who had a part in making a little boy happy. I am enclosing a pic of Josh with a quilt.

Hello, I just wanted to let you know that Josh did use his quilt. It came just in time, Joshua Heathcoat passed away on February 11, 2006. Once again I very much appreciate the quilt and it will be forever treasured.

Joshua H.'s Story

Joshua was born on July 15, 1992. He was alway an outgoing child so full of energy. Basicially he was just a typical boy. But all of that changed on August 23, 2005. Josh had been complaining of a headache and had been walking off balance. Well as any mother knows an ear infection can disturb a persons balance, so we did not think anything of it.
That was until Joshua had went to school, the nurse called me to tell me something was wrong. I took him straight to the ER and had him checked out. We were transferred to the childrens hospital more than one hour away. It was there that they did the MRI and discovered he had a brain tumor. Joshuas's condition is inoperable and the drs have little hope for him. They say he has if he is lucky one year to live. So in the mean time we try and make him as comfortable as he can be.
