Here is Sarah and her new quilt!  Thank you!  Yesterday, Sarah and her good friend were playing
American Girl dolls while sitting on her new quilt.  I wish I had a picture of her doing that!  She loves to sit and look at the beautiful stitched dolls on the quilt.  I am so thankful that she "can use" this quilt.  We thank all of you for your love, time and effort put into this quilt.  It certainly is a special, special gift.

Hello friends!  My name is Sarah. I am 7 years old. I am in the first grade. I have 4 brothers. I love them all. Even though they pester me. I love Jesus with all my heart. Come and find out more about me. I will be done with my chemo rounds in April. Thank you for praying for me. God is Good! Always remember that!

Feb. 28, 2007 Went to the ER because of pains in abdomen. They performed a c-scan for appendicities, but found a grapefruit size tumor.

March 1, 2007 Removed tumor and determined it was cancerous. Rhadomysarcoma cancer-stage 4. We will have 44 treatments of chemotherapy and 24 sessions of radiation.

After 3 diagnostic surgeries, on March 28th, Sarah had her first chemo treatment.

May 30th, had first Radiation treatment.

June 17th, developed rare liver disease-VOD veno occulsive disease.

June 24th, went on ventilator for 3 weeks.

Sept. 8th we remain in the ICU continuing to fight the VOD. God's amazing Grace has been with us each and every day.

Oct.7th, my birthday celebrated at the hospital.

Oct. 18th-I went home!!!! Praise the Lord

Nov. 1st- gall bladder surgery. After 7 hours of surgery, they removed the bladder. I lost over a liter of blood in the surgery. I am recovering in the hospital.

Feb. 1st-I have 4 chemo treatments left. Lord willing we will be done with all the chemo by the end of April.

May 1st: I was diagnosed with West Nile Virus, after having a 105 degree fever.

May 11th: Officially in remission!

Summer 2008: Enjoying every part of it as a cancer survivor. Keep praying!
