Abigail C.'s Story

Abi was born with a rare brain malformation called Chiari. It was first discovered when she was four, before that she led a normal life. So here we are 6 years later and 16 surgeries later and we pretty much have several new condition's including a syrinx by her brainstem and too many shunts to count.

We have come a long way and we are used to the fact now that this is what our lives will be like..This is our new"Normal." We never give up hope for a better day! We also try not to look too far ahead and enjoy what is in front of us.
